Boise is the capital and most populous city in the state of Idaho.  The Treasure Valley contains the state's three largest cities; Boise, Nampa, and Meridian.  

Boise is located in southwestern Idaho, about 41 miles (66 km) east of the Oregon border, and 110 miles (177 km) north of the Nevada border.
